Children’s Mission In the frame of the Children’s Mission 310 workers (teachers) educate 3000 children in 230 groups. The objective is to prepare them for pure life based on the word. The Children’s Mission provides regular support to the children in inferior positions in the most varied forms. The well-trained teachers organize children’s Bible groups, hold bible classes, visit families and organize summer camps.
Gipsy Mission The Gipsy Mission group operates among the gipsy people through evangelism, counselling and aids. They help the converted gipsies to find their place in the society. The Mission operates a Christian Gipsy College in Kecskemét.
Tent Mission Every summer tow tent of 500 seats each travels around the cities and villages of the country. The program on nearly 30 locations conform to the local requirements: films are projected, education programs, Christian concerts, children’s programs, sport events and worships services are held.
National Youth Mission The National Youth Mission ministers to young people within and outside the Fellowship. Their objective is to support and train young people, organize youth camps, and discover the situation and the problems of the youths through the media and present the possible Biblical solutions.
Logos School An elementary school was established in 1992 in Budapest. Our objective is to teach subject in conformity with the teaching of the Bible, and form children’s character by the personal example of the teachers. Beside the elementary knowledge they are not indoctrinated by confronted to Christian lifestyle and Biblical thinking. The School undertook to teach children which are in inferior position or difficult to teach, but it is open to every child without regard to religion.
Pentecostal Theological College The Pentecostal Theological College was established in 1991 by a government decree. Nearly 100 students are trained. Their objective is to train ministers, pastors, evangelists and religion teachers with college decree. The College is also the platform of special education and scientific research. Several students are dedicated to ministering to the homeless, visiting hospitals, prison mission and they actively participate in the social work. [ See www.ptf.hu ]
Rehabilitation Homes One of the therapeutic communities operate in Dunaharaszti, which was established in 1985 for providing physical, mental and spiritual healing to addicted women. The other one was opened in Budapest – Kőbánya in 1991 for helping addicted men. Their credo is the following: It is possible to have a brand new and pure start on Biblical basis. The voluntary counselees spend at least 6 months in the homes, and show a positive change though the whole healing process may last for years. hundreds of people have been helped in these homes to start a new life.
“Vóta-Kastély” Home for the Elderly The organized care for the elderly started in Kadarkút (Somogy county) in 1987. The institution has 45 beds in rooms for 2-3 persons, where old people of our fellowship and from the county (who are received on the basis of a contract with the local government) live the last phase of their life is a family environment.
Culture and literature The beginning of the Hungarian Pentecostal literature root back to the cradle f the Hungarian Pentecostal movement. Rároha F. Dezső was not only the leader of the united churches at the end of the twentieth, but also purchase a printing workshop, where tracts and a paper called “Apostolic Faith (Apostoli Hit)” were printed. He proclaimed that the Christian literature is most important in the life of every Christian. The Holy Spirit has been inspiring Christians through Rároha F. Dezső’s messages and articles ever since. Song books, Christian literature have been continuously published. The current paper of the Fellowship is called “Living Water (Élő Víz)”. [ See www.eloviz.epk.hu] |
